German version - Gordons Bay Guesthouse

Gordons Bay Guest House is an oasis of calm in the stunning Helderberg region. with breathtaking sea views across False Bay towards the world famous Table Mountain. With its Mediterranean style and African vibe, this beautiful area is also home to arguably the world’s finest sunsets.

Described by many as not merely a Guest House, but a real home from home, this South African tourist board accredited 4 star and AA Highly Recommended establishment, is the perfect venue for couples, groups, families and business people alike.

Since moving from the UK to take over the Guest House in April 2007 we have embarked on an extensive programme of extension, refurbishment and improving of all aspects of the house and gardens. All rooms now feature air-conditioning and we now have an outdoor covered Jacuzzi and a fully heated swimming pool plus a thatched lapa entertainment area with built-in spit roast/bbq (braai). The numerous sun loungers provide the perfect sun spot to relax in style.

As a 7 bed roomed (all en-suite) location Gordons Bay Guest House offers a particularly welcoming atmosphere and is incomparably charming. Guest house owners Jim & Christine Whitehall and Joy Malin have 30 years experience in the hospitality and catering industry, along with extensive travel within Europe/Africa and the rest of the world. They have created a homely environment based on quality and  value for money with friendly help and advice and they  will be on hand to assist with your every need and inevitable questions. (Guests have commented that “they arrived as clients and left as friends”). Guests are welcome to spend some quiet time in one of the two comfortable lounges equipped with terrace, real wood fire and a bar. The first floor balcony provides majestic sea and mountain views across the bay with possibly the sight of whales in season and magnificent sunsets daily.
